About the Ingredients we use.

We strive to use the most wholesome and therapeutic ingredients available in our hand blended NakedHerbs products.

We favor minimally processed oils and butters for blending our formulas. When organic, cold pressed or unrefined ingredients are available these are our first choices when procuring raw ingredients from our trusted suppliers.

Our botanical ingredients are subject to the variations of nature such as temperature, rainfall, sunlight, etc. This can create differences from batch to batch and is to be considered normal and in no way is regarded as defects in the quality of our products. In fact, we celebrate variations in color and texture just as mother nature intended.

The herbs we incorporate into our products are clean, non-treated, non-sprayed and non-irridiated. Wild crafted herbs are done so ethically. We naturally grow some of the herbs used in our formulas and are ever expanding our own growing capabilities. We never use artificial colors or fragrances. Only pure essential oils blended by a knowledgeable certified integrative aromatherapist are used in our formulas. We do use synthesized emulsifiers in our Crèmes and lotions such as vegetable emulsifying wax, glycerol monostearate and palm steric acid. We do make sure these are derived from natural sources such as palm, coconut and sugars instead of petrochemicals. We do incorporate a small amount of synthetic preservatives into our botanical skin care products to provide a reasonable shelf life and to protect you against potentially hazardous microbial growth.

All formulated products we offer are lovingly hand crafted by us in small batches for optimum therapeutic freshness and potency.

We don't stoop to adding cheap synthetic filler ingredients to our products just to increase the profit margin. Every ingredient included in a formula is there for a specific reason. Quality is very important to us and the botanical ingredients we use in abundant amounts are often very costly. If you have specific questions about the therapeutic properties of certain ingredients, please don't hesitate to contact us. We are more than happy to answer your questions.
